Little Buckaroo Junior Rodeo

Barrel racing, goat tail tie, mutton bustin’, dummy roping, poles, and steer riding are among the classes in which you can participate in the Iron County Fair Little Buckaroo Rodeo.

Contestants will be divided into four age groups: 8 and under, 8 and under assisted, 9-13, and 14-17 years old. Mutton bustin’ and dummy roping are for kids 8 and under, and steer/calf riding and breakaway is offered for ages 9-17.

The Little Buckaroo Rodeo begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Iron County Fairgrounds Rodeo Arena. Lots of fun prizes will be awarded, but you must pre-register to participate. All entries must be postmarked by Saturday, August 25th. Leanne Adams and Amber Burton will handling the entries and late entries will be charged a $10 processing fee.

Come join in the action by coming over to the Fairgrounds and watch your little buckaroo in the rodeo. Prices are: $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. For more information contact the Iron County Fair Office at 477-8380.
